Threw a 152 g misprint Halo Mamba for the first time with huge success, flipping it over only once; on the right release it is a cheat code.

Their Isaac Robinson Opto-X Orbit Explorer is the stiffest premium blend they've felt: more stable than a stock Explorer, between an Eagle and a TeeBird, and should take years to lose stability.

Finds the Underworld can be flippy but it turns nicely, and the Gorgon gives easy distance.

Finds the Valkyrie overstable up to about 300 ft of power and more understable beyond that; it always fades back a bit, sweeping right then fading left hard RHBH, good for getting around obstacles.

Finds the Leopard3 gently understable without fading back much, so it flies quite straight on a little hyzer; at about 300 ft it turns a little then goes straight.

Their TSA Color Glow Vessel flexes like soft Neutron and flew like a Zone with a little less glide, handling plenty of torque, but loses grip when wet, which matters for winter play.

Found a Grace on the course and threw it about their 415 ft max on the first throw, then flipped it up too much and lost it out of bounds in tall grass on the second.

Uses the Wombat3 for 100+ ft jump putts: beaded and putter-like in feel but a faster, slightly understable 5-speed with more glide.

Their GStar Roadrunner is not too understable to throw forehand and gets good distance on a hyzer flip, while their Halo Star Valkyrie is so overstable they took a hammer to it.

With an average distance flight around 370 ft, the Hades is the only disc that has let them break 410 ft on flat ground in a crosswind.

With a 300–330 ft golf line, throws a Discmania DD and Streamline Jet as understable distance drivers: S-Line DD and Neutron Jet for flippier flights, C-Line DD and Proton Jet for straighter ones.

In a four-disc round on a long, challenging course, their very beaten Destroyer was a lifesaver; they can throw it decently, unlike an average Destroyer.

Throws a Trance for roughly 280 ft forehand shots: it flips up, flies straight and fades on a stock hyzer.

Finds Champion TeeBirds start more overstable and hold their flight longer while Star beats in quicker; pulled a TeeBird3 this year after six years when it got too flippy, and loves the recent Jen Allen Proto Glow Champion TeeBird runs.

A Fission Volt filled the slot they wanted the Servo for, and it beat in quickly to roughly an 8/5/-1/2 flight.

Their lightweight 156 g Neutron Insanity actually flips for them, and they find Eclipse plastic more overstable than the rest of the lineup.

Played at elevation with a four-disc bag and found their discs not as flippy as usual, but took an Archangel and it flew perfectly.

Throws mostly sidearm on short wooded holes and uses the Range most by a large margin, for anything too long to jump putt within 200 ft that needs a straight or left finish.

In nearly a decade of playing has used only a few molds, putting with a Pilot since 2020 after a P2, choosing it because it is widely available in many plastics and slightly shallower than the P2.

After a cheap starter set, settled on a DX Firefly as their putter about four years ago and has grown to really like it; it feels a little less chunky or blunt than an Aviar despite the same flight numbers.

Likes understable discs for sticky situations; the Rhythm and the Sonic have both been great for short right hooks where they can't forehand.

Bags both a Zone and a Berg: the Zone goes much farther with some glide and ground play, while the Berg sticks wherever it lands on grass.

Searching for a flippy 9-speed after losing their Viruses, they tried used Valkyries and then a Streamline Shift, which is a flip machine, great in a tailwind or for long turnovers with a forward-pushing fade.

In northern Ontario they switch to a PA-3 in 300 Ultra Soft for winter: the soft plastic firms up at -30 °C and still gives grip, where their regular putter feels too slick.

Has thrown a Valkyrie for over 20 years and lately a 156 g Impulse, which is like a baby Valkyrie for them: not the same flight, but they can backhand it more cleanly with very little effort.

Their nose and release angles start to break down at 9-speed, so they carry a Terra because they're more consistent with it than a Firebird-type disc.

Throws a mix of brands including a lot of Prodigy and calls the F5 a great straight fairway: not very long for them, but accurate and workable, and a staple this year.

Throws a 170 g Lucid Vandal as their 9-speed and loves it: lots of glide and dead straight, and once beaten in it becomes a good turnover and roller disc.

An ESP Undertaker has been good for them: it took a few months of breaking in to get closer to neutral and now holds a nice turnover or hyzer-flip line.

The only MVP disc they have found that flies like their old Zones is a Proton Entropy from a used bin; other Entropy plastics don't have the overstability or hand feel they like.

The TeeBird3 in Champion plastic gives them a perfect, reliable flight with a tiny turn and reliable fade, getting out to about 330–350 ft.

Says the special-edition Aspect was very overstable at first but has beaten in quickly, already showing much less dump at the end. Contrasts it with their Control, which they have thrown far more without it changing much.

After trying a lot of Prodigy since returning to the sport, the only mold that stayed in their bag is a 400 H7. Says it has the same numbers as a Roadrunner but is far more controllable for them, and they only like it in 400 plastic.

Started out with Prodigy fairways: the F3 was the next step after outgrowing their F5 and is now their hyzer-flip fairway, with an F7 in the very flippy slot. Likes that the discs all feel the same in the hand.

A disc golf shop owner who recommends the Grand Sweep (not the Clear Sweep), saying they keep it very straight up to about 400 ft and that the Grand plastic is straighter than its 9/6/-0.5/2 rating.

Lost their favourite KC Star Wraith, tried others that didn't fly the same, then got a Philo Duo Wraith; it didn't seem right at first, but now that it's broken in they get the same distance as the one they lost.

Throws backhand and forehand equally and found a recycled-plastic Explorer in the sweet spot just more stable than a broken-in Crave; Opto Explorers are a touch too stable for them and Gold Line more neutral.

Has a VIP Underworld they really like, the first disc they hit 325+ ft with; very understable, so a hard flat throw turns until it rolls, while a steep hyzer flips up and goes fairly straight.
