Finds the Balance looks beefy because it has so much glide: through the fade it still wants to stay in the air, so it can go far off the centerline.
“The Balance looks really beefy because of how much glide it has. All throughout the fade it is still wanting to stay in the air which is what allows it”
Uses their Fission Crave as a longer Hex; thrown at full power it turns and doesn't come back, but at about 75% it flies as intended.
“I use my fission Crave as a longer Hex. Not sure what your arm speed is, but if you’re throwing it full power then sure, it’s probably gonna turn and”
A weaker thrower who finds the Bokeh a more stable Crave: nice flight, good distance, reliable fade and a nice skip, parking baskets they'd normally drive with a Crave.

“I throw a Pyro for max stable mid, and currently going back and forth with a glow REACTOR for softer stability, softer”

“Still use a Compass, but it's a tick more overstable imo so it may also”
Finds their Matrix flies like their EMac Truth, and throwing about 70% sidearm they much prefer the Matrix's shallow, flat feel.

Their Fuzion EMac Truth flies fairly straight flat with a reliable fade, can be shaped with anhyzer and come back, and holds a mean hyzer.
“Fusion EMac Truth. Fairly straight when thrown flat with reliable fade at the end of the flight. You can shape it with some anny, and it will come”
Couldn't find a straight-to-slightly-overstable mid between their Caiman and Fox until the Jay, which is basically an MD3 and they love it.
“I can’t recommend a Innova Jay more. I was in the same spot, had my OS (Caima) and US (Fox) locked in but struggled to find a good straight to”
Their stock Balance is overstable but not like a Pyro: beat in a bit it flies straight for 65–70% of its flight with a strong fade, their go-to for distance control.
“As far as I know it’s just a stock Balance. A lot of people are saying they are “beef”. Even though it’s definitely an overstable disc, it not like a”
Has enjoyed the Archive lately: with some height it holds anhyzer before leveling out, stands up to slight headwinds and is true to its numbers at 280–310 ft.
“I've really enjoyed the Prodigy Archive in this slot as of late. Give it some height and it will hold some anny before leveling out. Stands up to slight headwinds.”
Uses the Drop more and more as a mid and utility disc; it doesn't fly quite as overstable as 4/3/0/3 but fights out of a turn and holds up in wind.
“I've been using the Discmania Drop more and more for my mid/utility disc. 4,3,0,3 - but it doesn't fly quite that overstable for me. Enough so to fight out of”

“Stable workhorse is the Glacier. (Overstable is the MD5, which gets more use.) My next step down is an MD1,”
Used to throw the Anchor, which feels very like a Roc3 but flies a lot more stable, closer to a Pyro.
“Anchor feels very similiar to a Roc3 but flies alot more stable, kind of similiar to a pyro in my experience.”
Finds Prodigy run-to-run consistency hit and miss: a new M2 flies like an M4 and an older M4 flies like an M2 should.
“I’d say that while they’re starting to make some really high quality discs again the consistency run to run is still hit and miss. I just got a M2 that”
Recommends the Halo Star Lion: it won't easily turn and burn, has surprising glide and distance, and a gentle but reliable fade every time.
“In your case I suggest the Halo Star Lion. Its not going to easily turn & burn on you, has surprising glide and distance with gentle but reliable fade every”
Their go-to mid is the Streamline Runway: it never flips over and rides a long way straight before fading.
“I don't think people really use it but my absolute go to is the Streamline Runway. Never flips over and rides a long way straight before the fade. Absolute beast”

“R-pro Pig. If the shot is under 300, I'm throwing a pig every time. They are reliable, cheap, and available. Takes a little more juice to push them 250+ than”

“Had a Kasta Kaxe and loved it; bought a HoD Kaxe and it is poor.”

“Love the Opto Explorer! The awesome guy that runs my local shop recommended one that he saw on the used shelf; it's become my forehand workhorse since almost day one.”
Their Premier FD is pretty stable: a C-Line FD is happy from 70% to 100% power, but the Q-Line needs 85% or more to fly well.
“My premier FD is pretty stable as well. The c line FD i have is happy from 70% to 100% power, the Q line needs 85% or more to fly”

“Explorer might be a bit more overstable but it’s the same in practice. Teebird3 I found is massively overstable.”

“I also really like my Z Confetti Cigarra which fits in after my Teebird 3. It has a very reliable fade, but it’s a little”
Their Champion and Star Sidewinders and Opto Saints are all more stable than their Trail, so however they release it, it is flippier than discs known to run understable.
“My Sidewinders (Champ and Star) and Saints (Opto) both have more stability than the Trail I have, so regardless of how I’m releasing it, it’s flipper than discs that are”
Finds the Fission Insanity becomes very flippy, as Fission seems to have no limit to how far it beats in, while Proton, Neutron and Eclipse reach a point and stay.

“Bear is not completely straight but not super beefy either. Pretty god damn accurate to the flight numbers.”

Finds the Glory truly overstable and glidey.
“Glory, I don't know anyone who throws hard and calls a teebird overstable . Glory is truly overstable and glidey”

“STIG all the way. I love mine and if I had to play a round with only 1 disc, the STIG would be my first”
Finds the Malita flippy but with a reliable fade: the flip of an understable disc, the fade of a slightly overstable one, and great glide.
“How about a Malita? It's flippy, but has a reliable fade to it at the end. It's weird, it's got the flip of an understable disc, the fade of a”
The ESP Buzzz SS was one of their first 'this flies really nice' moments: it does small flips and works really well for flick-type forehands.

Their DX Rollos always turned into rollers, but a new 180 g Halo Star Rollo is much more stable, with just a slight right turn on RHBH.

Just over 400 ft, their headwind disc is a Fuzion Enforcer: it will fade and gets surprisingly good distance for its beef.
“I’m just over 400 and my headwind disc is a Fuzion Enforcer. It will fade and it gets surprisingly good distance for its beef.”
Uses a Halo Boss in the very overstable slot: easy to find with a good dome and aggressive wing, it carries a split second then fights hard back to earth.
“Halo Boss for me at the moment. I carry 3 Nukes for most golf distance shots, and I’ve found that in the massively OS slot the more stable Z Nukes”
Their beefiest driver is a Neutron Teleport, followed by a Neutron Simon Line Time-Lapse that a pro called very overstable.

Throws fairway drivers 300 ft and gets no turn from their Hex, so it sits in their stable midrange slot rather than neutral.
“Yeah, I can throw fairway drivers 300 feet, and get no turn out of my Hex... Which is fine, it's just in my "stable midrange"”
Their Opto Ice Fuse is by far the most consistently straight disc they have thrown, great for low-ceiling approaches and dependably hitting lines.
“I really love my Latitude 64° Opto Ice Fuse. It is by far the most consistently straight disc I have ever thrown. It’s great for low ceiling approaches and dependably”
Took their long-bagged Mako3 out because their Dart more consistently flies 200 ft straight in the woods, and R-Pro is wonderful at stopping where it lands.
“I have had a Mako3 in my bag for a long time, but I took it out recently because my dart was just more consistently flying 200' straight for me”
Finds the Tournament Gatekeeper flies a bit more like a Hex than a new Buzzz: a little straighter but with some fight at the end.
“Tournament Gatekeeper from westside discs. It is bit more similar to the Hex in flight then a brand new Buzzz. So a little bit more straight but has some fight”
The Wombat3 is the straightest disc they've thrown on a slight hyzer flip: a little turn but zero fade, which they haven't found in any other disc.
“Wombat3 is the straightest disc I've thrown, but it requires a slight hyzer flip. Has a little turn but actually zero fade, something I've not found in any”
Their favourites are the Claymore, like a beat-in Buzzz with more glide, and the EMac Truth, which flies like an overstable run of Buzzz.

“I just got an Uplink in Proton Glow Particle and it's my favorite mid I've”

“Shryke and Zeus Shryke is anywhere from very flippy to a little stable, Zeus is from slightly flippy to pretty stable. I have different discs for utility shots, but those”
Finds the Essence good for long backhand flex shots: their 168 g Neo Essence bombs, is slightly understable with a reliable fade, and doesn't need a big arm.
“Discmania Essence is good for long backhand flex shots. Pulled one out of a canal onetime after a hurricane. Bagged one ever since. I currently have a 168g neo plastic”
For 375–390 ft shots that mustn't cruise past 400, uses stable Champion or Halo Beasts; they used to bag the Wraith there but the Beast goes about as far on a tighter golf line.
“Shots in the 375-390 range, but that I need to not cruise past 400, I’ll whip out one of my stable Beasts. Champ or Halo Beast. I used to bag”
Maxes just over 400 ft and the Strive is their furthest disc, though no hand feel beats the Wraith for them.
“Star Wraith and the Lat 64 Strive. I max out just over 400 feet and the Strive is also the furthest disc for me but no hand feel is better”
The Bolt is their go-to: a 158 g one is hyzer-flip magic with no wind, a 172 g one for a slight headwind; about 400 ft with the light one and the same distance forehand.
“L64 Bolt is my goto, I have it in 172g and 158g. the 158 is hyserflip magic with no wind. The 172 for a tiny headwind, flys similar. I can”
A beat-in Halo Star Valkyrie holds a slow turn for them and feels safer than a Wild Honey, so they reach for it more often lately.
“Understable: Steady Ring Wild Honey, beat in Halo-star Valkyrie. Wild Honey can get away from me where the Valk will hold the slow turn and I find myself going to”
Uses 150 g Fission Photons and Waves: light enough to spin up quickly, with the extra gyro keeping them from getting too flippy; the Photon especially holds its stability.
“150g(ish) Fission Photon or Fission Wave. Light enough to spin up quickly and the extra gyroscopic energy helps it to not get too flippy. The Photon especially holds its stability.”
Throws a Thrasher for flippy, a Drive for straight, which they find slept on as a Wraith or Grace alternative and better forehand than expected, and a Zeus for overstable.
“I throw thrasher for flippy, drive for straight (super slept on as a wraith/grace alternative imo), and zeus for overstable. Drive forehands better than you’d think it would which is”
Finds the Thrasher's angle a little finicky, but with about 400 ft of power on a bit of hyzer it cruises beautifully.
“On the Thrasher the angle is a little finicky but when you hit it with ~400' power on a bit of hyzer it will just cruise beautifully.”

“UnderStable: 160g Halo Mamba - 520ft hyzerflip OverStable: 165G Halo”

“I've been loving the new K1 Grind Guld. They are more stable than the K1 runs while not being crazy beef. For most situations they have been giving me a”
